Player Q&A

How long have you been playing the deck?
This build for about a month or so, but I have been playing LSS from around the start of this year, both EN and JP.

What’s your favorite card in the deck and why?
This is kind of a tough question because I don’t really have just one card that is my favorite. I have to say that there are two cards I like the most in this deck: the level 2 Riko and the level 3 You. I like Riko because it gives my lvl 3 cards more power, plus I can rest her, drop a card and reveal the top card of the deck and then I can salvage a card that is the same level or lower. That way, I can set up level 2s and 3s for You so she can burn as much as possible. And You I like because on attack she first burns my opponent for the level of the revealed card, and she also gives +2000 power to my level 3 Chika.

How does the deck work?
At level 0, I try to play my runners which are also oversizes because they get 1.5k power if I have 2 or less stock. With Dia, I can fix my hand and my anti-runners with 3.5k power help me deal with runners and most of the time help me reverse characters.
At level 1, I use my Rikis to get the cards I need and use my level 1 CX combo that has an on reverse Akatsuki effect and also gives one of my characters +2000 power. And as a backup, I also play suiciders.
At level 2, the fun starts. I aim to get the early play condition level 2 Riko in my hand before I reach level 2 so I can clock her and then play my level 3 Chika and for 1 more stock call level 3 You as well. Then I can burn my opponent to deal even more damage.
And with the help of the standby CX, I can put more cards on stage to maintain board presence.
And that’s it … fun.

What kind of decks are a bad/good match-up for this deck?
I don’t really look at that a lot. I try to play my game and adapt as I go. But I do not like to see anti early play cards, or cards that put my cards to memory.
As for good match-up decks, I would say decks that have trouble with reaching enough power to reverse my level 3s – nothing else comes to mind.
(Editor’s note: I’m pretty sure he also doesn’t like playing against the Kurisu brainstorm when I keep milling away his level 3s before he can burn with You.)

Is there anything you still plan to change in the build?
I am thinking of some changes for level 1 but nothing major.

Hope you liked it! Huge thanks to Denis for sharing his build with me, and as always, if you’ve got any questions about the deck, you know where to find me 😛
