Hello there! It’s been a while since I’ve been in the Weiss kitchen (what do you mean I’m not supposed to cook one deck and run it to the ground for 2 years???) but anyway, Assault Lily vol. 3 comes out this weekend, and it has all three of my braincells in a fucking vice grip with how fun it is to build and how much I love playing it. Even that combination alone is a rare experience for me when it comes to Weiss decks, but this one’s also kinda stupid strong? I guess I can have nice things after all!

Deck Building Journal: Guilty Gear – STRIVE –

I’m the kinda person who’ll come up with a Christmas gift in July and spoil it by mid-August, so it’s a bloody miracle I’ve been sitting on some exciting Guilty Gear -Strive- card reveals for over a month without losing my marbles. But as far as I can tell, I’m no less sane than when I took 5Pants3Standby Bang Dream to regionals, so in the following days, this post will grace you with a progressive insight into the deck crafting process of the creature who once unironically built this and liked it. The Madoka Deck For The Casual Masochist – G/Y/B – Choice/Bar – JP 2020

After the release of the Magia Record anime set this summer, I’ve spent a really long time trying to craft a new Madoka list which would pay homage to the deck I started playing Weiss with more than 5 years ago. So this definitely isn’t the most competitive Madoka deck out there – but it’s the Madoka deck that lets me play the kind of Weiss I love the most. I hope at least some of you will find it fun as well!
